and we are enthralled with the entire lovestory of the creative process.
The Lovestory of the Creative Process
The animal that grew the fleece. The farmer who cared and raised it. The hands that washed, carded, spun, dyed, stitched, carved, painted, sculpted, or fired it. Each step carries the fingerprints of the person who came before, and every artist brings their own craftsmenship and artistry to what they create.
And then it leaves their hands and begins another life full of adventure.
It becomes the mug reached for each morning with the first sip of coffee. The sweater worn soft at the elbows. The quilt folded along the end of the bed. The blanket that is passed down from the soft hands of grandma to the eager grip of their grandchild.
This is what we love about things made well. They aren’t simply things. They have a beginning, and gather stories along the way. They are lived in, loved, mended, and handed down, and sometimes kept and loved long enough to become heirlooms.
Crunchy Cria was born from the entire beautiful process, from pasture to heirloom.
